  • Where can I find FAQ’s for the Damson S-Series?

    As the S-Series has not been released yet, there are no FAQ’s. Check back here once the product has been released.

  • How to pair a Damson Cisor to your device?

    Turn the Cisor to Bluetooth (logo will flash Blue). On your device go to bluetooth settings and search. Select "Damson Cisor". It will not be paired and will automatically reconnect when you turn it on in the future.

    If you are connecting two Cisors for Wireless stereo, we suggest making a note of the serial number on the base of the parent Cisor, or putting a sticker on the base, so you know which is the main one in the future.

  • How do I pair two Damson Cisors together?

    Turn the master speaker on and let it connect to the device. Then switch the second Cisor on Bluetooth. Double click the play/pause button quickly on the  connected speaker. Wait between 30 - 60 seconds until there is an audible sound to announce both speakers are paired.

  • Using the Aux connector

    Turn Cisor to the Line in mode. Fit the cable into the Cisor and your device. Press play on your device.

  • How do I activate the speakerphone?

    The Cisor does not have a speaker phone function

  • Understanding the control button

    The only button you will ever need to use on the Cisor is the play/pause button on the back of the unit. This is used for pairing two Cisors in stereo mode, or playing/pausing audio.

  • What surfaces does my Cisor work on?

    We recommend being creative, but ensure the surface you use is not solid as solid surfaces do not conduct sound. We recommend trying coffee tables, glass (use the mount if using a window), metals etc. Surface like marble, concrete, stone will not work

  • I've lost my cable

    You can purchase another cable from the accessories store.

  • How do I know when my device is charging and charged?

    When your Cisor is charging, the small LED on the back of the device, next to where the cable is inserted, will be lit red

  • How do I reset the Cisor?

    Turn the speaker to Bluetooth mode, and hold down the play/pause button for 5-10 seconds. You will hear an audible chime to indicate Cisor has been reset. We recommend removing any Damson Cisor in your devices settings after a reset as it will have wiped any data.

  • How do I charge my Cisor?

    Cisor requires a USB-C cable (supplied, under the bottom of the insert in the box)

  • My Speaker does not stick well to surfaces

    We recommend regular cleaning of the silicon pad on the bottom. Clean with a damp cloth using warm water and a little none abrasive soap. Ensure the surface you are sticking to does not have any grains, bumps, dust, dirt etc as these will affect the stickiness of the pad.

  • Can I buy replacement the rubber pads?

    With proper care your pad should last years. If it is has been damaged please contact support who will handle this for you.

  • My Cisor is not screwing into the mount fully

    Firstly, please do not over turn. Do ensure you have lined up the threads correctly. The mount should turn easily into the Cisor. If you are experiencing problems please contact support.

  • Do you offer out of warranty repairs?

    Yes, our pricing is detailed in the warranty section. Please contact support if you wish to continue with an out of warranty repair.

vulcan-General

  • How do I connect by Bluetooth?

    Turn on Vulcan a voice will say hello and then "pairing". In the Bluetooth settings of your device search for Damson Vulcan. Once found you shouldn’t need to re-pair

  • I want to use a cable connection, how?

    Insert a 3.5mm cable into the back of the Vulcan. Press and hold the play/pause button for a few seconds, release your finger and it will turn white. Play on the device to listen to the audio. Vulcan sounds great as a sound bar when using to watch TV. Try it, you'll be surprised!

  • What is 4.1 Stereo?

    Vulcan features Damson's own unique software and speaker settings, the two speakers at the side are programmed independently of the forward speakers. This results in a much wider sound stage normally associated with two separate speakers.

  • Using my Vulcan as a speakerphone

    Connect a phone or tablet and receive when a call is incoming press the play/pause button to answer.

  • Can I replace the grilles?

    Yes, the grilles are magnetic and can be easily removed without snapping anything. You can customise your Vulcan by changing the colour of your grilles. Grilles are available to buy through our store or on Amazon.

  • Can I buy another power supply?

    Yes, they for sale under the accessories section of the website.

  • Charging your speaker

    Please use the supplied AC/DC power supply. This is an international adapter so you can select a plug for your region. If you have lost or damaged your power supply you can purchase a new one from the accessories section of the website.

  • How do I know when Vulcan is charging

    The logo will flash Red if it is turned on, or stay solid red if it is turned off, until it is charged. When fully charged the LED will go off.

  • How will I know my battery is low.

    When the battery has 20% power left you will hear "battery low please charge"

  • The LED is solid but no audio is playing when I play from my device

    Please check that no other devices have connected to the Vulcan first. To do this check the device you are using is connected to Vulcan. If it is not, turn Vulcan off, and back on. If you hear "connected" and it has still not connected to your device, then it has connected to another device. Disconnect and connect the device you want to play from.

  • My speaker will not turn on unless it is powered

    Your battery may need charging (when charging the logo will blink red), or there may be a problem with your battery. If your product is in warranty this will be covered by the warranty. If it is out of warranty we can offer an out of warranty repair.

  • Vulcan seems stuck in Bluetooth mode, I can't switch off or change to Line in.

    We recommend letting the battery discharge fully and recharging. This usually resolves this issue.

  • I've damaged my speaker, I know it's my fault but can you help?

    Yes, we offer an out of warranty repair service. Please contact support who will be happy to assist.

damson lab powerplant-General

  • What output does PowerPlant work with?

    For USB it will charge most USB devices. For AC output (wall plug) the maximum output is 95 Watts. Please check the wattage of your device

  • How long will the PowerPlant power my device

    This depends on a number of factors such as the power output required to charge/power your device.

  • Can I charge my device while PowerPlant is charging?

    Yes. Although sometimes the PowerPlant can become too hot. In this case the built in sensors will safely power off PowerPlant.

  • What is the total mAh of the PowerPlant battery?

    20,400 mAh. The battery can be swapped out for another battery when it is discharged.

  • Do you plan to sell spare batteries?

    Yes these can be purchased from the Accessories section of the website.

  • What Voltage does PowerPlant work with?

    PowerPlant supports between 110 & 240 volts making it compatible with almost all countries power requirements

  • What do you mean by universal power supply?

    We mean that it works with US/UK/EU/AU without the need for an additional adapter.

  • My mount won't screw in properly

    Please do not over screw so it will not come out. If this is a problem please contact support immediately

  • My mount will not stick to a window

    Please ensure the window is clean and clear without any bumps in it, otherwise it will not stick securely

  • My mount won't stick to a wooden door?

    No, the grain in the wood will not allow suction. Ensure you only mount to suitable surfaces that like clear windows.

  • My mount fell off the window and the speaker is now broken, what can I do?

    We always advise ensuring the mount is secure before letting go. If the speaker is broken, please contact support who can offer an out of warranty repair.

  • Where can I find the FAQ's for Resqu?

    As Resqu has not been released yet there are no FAQ's. Check back here once the product has been released.

S-Series

  • How much are the additional S-Cube speakers?
    They can be purchased individually for 149.99
  • Is the S-Series easily set up?
    Yes, very. The SubWoofer takes all of the  inputs and outputs. The SoundBar has one cable going in for power. The "master" S-Cube Speaker works on Bluetooth, and connects to all of the additional speakers using our JetStreamNet technology.
  • Can the system decode other high-resoltion music formats?
    If the player supports those formats, the S-Series will match the input to decode at that rate
  • Is the S-Series a 5.1.4 System?
    ​Our system us currently a 5.1.2.  The sound comes from the Atmos speaker which is located at the front front.  It has gone through extremely rigorous testing with Dolby directly to meet their very high standards.  At a later date, we will be developing surround speakers with Atmos built it which will create the 5.1.4 system that you are describing.  The benefit of system is it is modular and flexible so you can add new features without having to buy a brand new system.
  • What spatial clearance does the atmos unit need?
    The optimised ceiling height as specified buy Dolby is approx 10ft.  So long as the soundbar isn't sat in a cabinet, most rooms should accomodate this.
  • How many additional S-Cube speakers can you be add to the system?
    You will be able to have up to 8 speakers attached to the S-Series system overall
  • Does this have to be used all in the same room?
    No, you can have the system set up as multiroom, especially when you add in more S-Cube speakers!
  • Will the Atmos still work if what you are watching is not Atmos enabled?
    For the best results, we would recommend using Atmos enabled content through a BluRay DVD player, however, the system will always upscale whatever you are watchng and optimize so that you will always get the best possible sound out of your system
  • Can you just use the system to play music?
    Yes you can, you can use the S-Cube speakers separate to the S-Bar, S-Woofer and Atmos. You will just need to connect to the "master" speaker by Bluetooth (or 3.5ml cable) and the system will use our JetStreamNet technology to connect to the other speakers
  • How long does the battery last on the S-Cube speakers?
    6-8 Hours, and can then be fully charged again in 2 hours
  • What battery does the S-Series remote take?

    Battery is 2 x AAA (Supplied)

  • What is the range of the remote control?

    Remote range is 10 metres/30 feet

  • Is it waterproof?

    And it is not waterproof

  • Does adding 6 S-Cubes duplicate channels?

    You can use them in multiple ways, 6 x duplicate channels, 3 x left stereo, 3 x right. 8 individual speakers, 2 x stereo 6 in a group etc.

  • Does the system use WISA?

    Our system uses its own wireless system called JeStreamNet which is superior to WISA because it uses a specific frequency in the 5ghz range that is less heavily populated than the 2.4 network WISA supports.

  • How exactly do the Satellite S-Cubes re-charge?

    AC/DC power supply which is shipped with the product

  • What is the expected battery life of the S-Cube?

    As with most things battery powered this is subject to certain conditions, such as volume and type of audio being received by it. Generally though we promote that it will last at least 8 hours for general TV/Movie watching with the volume around 50 - 60%. In many tests it has exceeded this.

  • Can the S-Cubes be used to play music from other sources, but also using the entire system (S-Bar, S-Wooofer & Atmos)

    Yes, the S-Bar also has Bluetooth and also through HDMI inputs (Spotify via Amazon Firestick for example) and has aux-in. When using the S-Bar to play music sound is output however it was recorded in the studio and can be swtiched into Dolby Music mode which optimises it for music.
    The S-Cubes can be connected via bluetooth and Aux-in and can be connected in a series in multiple ways i.e Stereo L/R, 2 playing the same output and can add up to 8 S-Cubes in total.

  • Does the S-Series support basic DTS?

    The system will support the DTS system

  • Will the S-Series decode Dolby Digital over HDMI ARC?

    Yes it will

  • How many channels does the S-Series support?

    5

  • Can you control the individual speakers with the remote?

    You can use the remote to control power if only the cubes are turned on and the remote is in Bluetooth mode

  • What wireless network does the s-series work on?

    The Damson S-Series uses its own wireless network called JetStreamNet

  • Can you access the S-Bar in Bluetooth mode?

    Yes, you can. You need to be in Bluetooth mode using the remote (Blue light on the S-Bar will indicate this). Open up Bluetooth on your device, and hold down the play/pause button on either the remote or the unit until the S-Bar shows up as one of your available devices to use. Connect, and away you go!

  • Can I re-pair my S-Cubes to the system?

    Yes. All you need to do is once the S-Cubes are turned on, hold down the pair button on the back of the cube at the same time as the pair button on the remote control and wait for the indication after 7-10 seconds.

  • Does the Damson S-Series support Dolby Atmos through a PS4?

    Yes, via Bluray

damson headspace-care & Maintenance

  • How do I charge my headphones?

    We recommend charging your headphones before first use, this will prolong your battery. Your headphones should always be charged using a micro-usb cable  (one is supplied)  and plugged in at a main plug socket at the wall. Do not charge your headphones by connecting to a computer as this will not provide enough power and may cause battery issues. Please ensure a 2.1 amp charger is being used.

  • Where can I find the user guide?

    The user guide is printed on the inside of the box Or can be downloaded above.

  • Maintaining your earcups

    It is recommended that you clean your earcups ocassionally. Your earcups can be removed by carefully turning them anti-clockwise. To refit, reverse this. To clean we recommend using a damp cloth with warm water or an unscented dermatologically tested wipe. 

  • The HeadSpace headphones are too tight on my head

    The band on the headphones extend to accommodate different head shapes and sizes.

  • The ear cups do not fit or feel uncomfortable

    Try extending the band first, if this doesn’t work we recommend purchasing the Extra Large cushions from the accessories store.

  • Do you offer out of warranty repairs?

    Yes, our pricing is detailed in the warranty section. Please contact support if you wish to continue with an out of warranty repair.

  • Using the Aux connector

    A 3.5mm cable was included in the box. Plug one end into the headphone jack of the device you want to play the audio from, and the other end into the headphone jack on the right hand side ear of the headphones. You do not need to power on to listen to audio, but will need to activate ANC.

  • How do I know if my Damson HeadSpace are charging?

    Whilst your HeadSpace are charging, the "d" logo will illuminate red. When your HeadSpace are fully charged, the light will go out

  • No audio from a Bluetooth® device

    First check that the volume on the device you are playing from is turned up. Check that the device is connected to the correct device in the Bluetooth settings. If you are still experiencing no audio please contact our support team. Ensure you have not connected another device to your HeadSpace.

  • Which Products are compatible with Damson HeadSpace?

    Anything that has an auxiliary cable or has AD2P Bluetooth.

  • How do I pair to Damson HeadSpace by Bluetooth?

    Turn on the HeadSpace by holding down the Bluetooth button until you hear "Power on". Make sure Bluetooth is activated on the chosen device and is able to search. Select "Damson HeadSpace". You will hear the announcement "connected" when it is paired.

  • How do I connect two devices at the same time?

    As soon as you have followed the initial connection to one device go to the bluetooth settings on the second device and select "Damson HeadSpace". It will connect. When connecting after already paird, one device will automatically connect, on the 2nd device quickly (within 1 minute) go to the settings and select "Damson HeadSpace".

  • How can I reset my HeadSpace headphones?

    Run the battery totally flat by leaving the headphones turned on. Leaving the noise cancellation activated will expedite this process. Once flat, please charge for 12-18 hours directly from a power main. This should work as a hard re-set.

  • My Bluetooth connection keeps dropping out

    his can occur in a couple of situations. Firstly ensure the connected device is not obstructed by other objects that may reduce the Bluetooth power (such as metal objects, walls etc). Secondly this may occur if the battery level is too low.

  • I can still hear outside noise when the noise cancellation is activated

    Our XD-Audio Noise Cancellation software reduces background noise by 20db. It is not designed to block out all background noise, in a typical environment natural sound is around 40db. When playing music or listening to audio in general the background noise should be cancelled out, again it depends on where you are. 

  • Are my HeadSpace ready to us straight out of the box?

    Yes, but it never hurts to give them a charge. 

  • My microphone doesn’t work?

    Turn off ANC as your brain will be tricked into thinking you’re in an environment that is quieter than it actually is, so you’ll subconsciously be talking quieter. Or speak up you’re not talking as loudly as you think.

  • Can I buy replacement ear cups?

    Yes, through the accessories store.

  • The Volume and Skip buttons on the headphones don’t work?

    Are you using connected to Bluetooth or to the 3.5ml cable? The functions on the headphones themselves will only work if you are connected via Bluetooth.

  • HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY DEVICE IS CHARGING AND CHARGED?

    THE LED ON YOUR PRODUCT WILL TURN RED WHEN CHARGING AND WILL TURN OFF ONCE THE ITEM IS FULLY CHARGED. 

  • WHAT PRODUCTS DO DAMSON SPEAKERS WORK WITH?

    PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING THAT PLAYS AUDIO. IF YOUR DEVICE CAN STREAM BLUETOOTH AUDIO THEN THIS MAKES IT A SYNC TO PLAY MUSIC. IF YOU LIKE USING CABLES ALL THE PRODUCTS HAVE A WAY TO CABLE INTO THE SPEAKERS (EVEN HEADBONES).

  • HOW TO PAIR A CISOR TO YOUR DEVICE?

    MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE IS NOT PAIRED TO ANYTHING ELSE. MAKE SURE YOUR CISOR IS FULLY CHARGED AND NOT PAIRED TO ANOTHER DEVICE. TURN YOUR CISOR ONTO BLUETOOTH MODE. ENSURE YOUR DEVICE IS IN PAIRING MODE. THE CISOR WILL DISPLAY ON YOUR DEVICE. SELECT THE CISOR. YOUR DEVICE IS NOW CONNECTED TO THE CISOR. YOU CAN NOW PLAY AUDIO.

  • HOW DO I PAIR TWO CISORS TOGETHER?

    TURN BOTH CISORS TO BLUETOOTH MODE. DOUBLE CLICK THE PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON QUICKLY ON THE SPEAKER YOU WANT TO BE YOUR MAIN SPEAKER. WAIT AROUND 30 - 60 SECS UNTIL THE AUDIBLE PROMPT ANNOUNCES THEY HAVE SUCCESSFULLY CONNECTED IN STEREO.

  • IS THERE A RESET FOR THE CISOR?

    YES, TURN THE SPEAKER TO BLUETOOTH MODE.  HOLD DOWN THE PLAY BUTTON FOR 5 - 10 SECS.  YOU WILL HEAR A "DONG" TO INDICATE IT HAS RESET.  

  • HOW DO I CONNECT MY CISOR TO MY DEVICE VIA LINE IN?

    SWITCH THE CISOR TO LINE IN MODE. INSERT ONE END OF THE 3.5MM JACK INTO THE LINE IN PORT ON THE CISOR. INSERT THE OTHER END OF THE 3.5MM JACK INTO THE PORT ON YOUR DEVICE. PLAY AUDIO.

  • HOW DO I CHARGE MY CISOR?

    PLEASE USE THE CHARGING CABLE THAT WAS SUPPLIED WITH THE CISOR. INSERT THE SMALL END OF THE CABLE INTO THE CISOR. THE LARGE END WITH THE USB NEEDS TO BE INSERTED INTO A USB PLUG. ALWAYS USE A WALL PLUG TO CHARGE YOUR CISOR.

  • MY CISOR WILL NOT SCREW INTO IT’S MOUNT?

    IF THIS IS THE CASE, PLEASE DO NOT FORCE THE CISOR TO FIT. PLEASE CONTACT SUPPORT VIA THE SUPPORT. PLEASE HAVE YOUR SERIAL NUMBERS TO HAND AND ALSO A PHOTO OF EACH THREAD ON THE CISOR AND THE MOUNT.

  • MY CISOR HAS A PERMANENT PURPLE LIGHT ON THE LED IN THE BACK. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

  • WHEN I HAVE TWO CISORS CONNECTED I AM GETTING DROPOUTS. HOW CAN I FIX THIS?

    THE MASTER CISOR NEEDS TO HAVE A CLEAR LINE OF SIGHT WITH THE BLUETOOTH STREAMING DEVICE.PLACING YOUR TWO CISORS AND THE BLUETOOTH DEVICE IN A TRIANGULAR SETUP IS PREFERABLE. THE BLUETOOTH RANGE IS 10METRES/30 FOOT

  • MY CISOR DOES NOT SCREW EASILY INTO THE MOUNT

    WHEN ATTACHING THE CISOR TO THE MOUNT, ENSURE YOU DO NOT OVER-SCREW THE CISOR INTO THE MOUNT AS THEY CAN CAUSE THE LEG OF THE CISOR TO BECOME LOOSE. 
    WHEN SECURING THE CISOR TO THE MOUNT, AS LONG AS THE CISOR IS SECURE IN THE MOUNT, THE CISOR IS FITTED CORRECTLY. THE CISOR DOES NOT HAVE TO SCREW FULLY INTO THE MOUNT. SOME THREAD CAN BE SHOWING. TO TEST, ATTACH THE MOUNT AND CISOR TO A CLEAN, CLEAR AND FLAT GLASS WINDOW OR WORK SURFACE AND TUG THE CISOR WITH ONE HAND WHILST CRADLING IT WITH THE OTHER HAND. IF THE CISOR DOES NOT COME AWAY FROM THE MOUNT, IT IS SECURE. 
    BELOW ARE TWO IMAGES OF TWO CISORS FITTED WITH THE MOUNT. PLEASE NOTE THE BLACK CISOR SHOWS SOME THREAD HOWEVER, IT IS STILL SECURE AND TIGHT. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO HIDE ALL THE THREAD. AS SOON AS YOU FEEL A TIGHT FIT BETWEEN THE CISOR AND THE MOUNT, IT IS SECURE.

Headbones

  • HOW DO I CHARGE MY HEADBONES?

    ALWAYS CHARGE OFF THE MAINS USING THE CABLE SUPPLIED AND A USB PLUG. DO NOT CHARGE OFF ANYTHING SUCH AS A LAPTOP AS THIS WILL ONLY PROVIDE A TRICKLE CHARGE. FOR THE FIRST THREE CHARGES, CHARGE OVERNIGHT. THE SUBSEQUENT CHARGES 2 TO 4 HOURS WILL SUFFICE.

  • HOW DO I PAIR MY HEADBONES?

    ENSURE THE HEADBONES ARE CHARGED. ENSURE YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE IS TURNED ON AND NOT CONNECTED TO ANYTHING ELSE. PLACE THE HEADBONES ON YOUR HEAD. TURN THE HEADBONES ON USING THE POWER BUTTON. YOU WILL HEAR THE WORDS, "POWER ON". KEEP HOLDING THE POWER BUTTON AND YOU WILL HEAR THE WORDS, "PAIRING". TAKE YOU FINGER OFF THE POWER BUTTON. YOU WILL NOW SEE DAMSON HEADBONES LISTED ON YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE AND HAVE THE ABILITY TO SELECT THEM.

S-Series Troubleshooting

  • My S-Cube speakers keep dropping out?

  • Do I need to be connected to WiFi to make the S-Series work?

    No, you don't need WifI, the system uses our own wireless technology called JetStreamNet to connect.

  • How will I know if my room it the right size for the system?

  • My remote control isn't working?

    Try changing the battery. The remote will take 2 x AAA sized batteries

  • How do I get my X Box 1 to stream Atmos enabled content?

    - The first time you connect the s-series to your X-Box it is best that you use the following steps:

    - Go to "Display & Sounds" on the X-Box menu

    - In Audio Output, choose Bitstream Out for HDMI Audio, & Atmos Home Theatre for Bitstream format

    - Enter Netflix and play content. If the content is Atmos enables the LED on the S-Woofer will flash red while in use

    - Once you have changed these settings once, you should have no need to do it again
